Greetings:)> FETUS is a four piece band spawned from the belly of a redneck town called Debert, Nova Scotia. It is located just outside of Truro,(if you have no idea where it is). We have only been playing together as FETUS for a year now, but some of the band members have been playing together for 5 years or so.
We do not have any cd's for sale yet, but in the future we will have lots for sale as well as action figures, lunch boxes and bed sheets.(with stains)
We are: Jeff "Leroy" Mellroy/ Bass and vocals, Mike "Wheelman" Patriquin/ Drums, Ralph "Alvie Ralphmore" Turner/ Guitar and vocals and Glendt "Elvis" Patriquin/ Guitar and vocals.
Jeff and Ralph started a band 5 years ago called Short Wheel Bass. They had some guy named Pickle playing drums for them but none of their drummers lasted very long. 5 years later Jeff met up with Glendt, outside a convenience store and they got to talking about music and stuff and they set up an audition for Glendt to come and play with the boys. If he was talented at all then he would make the cut, if not he would go back home and keep on making candles and melting stuff. Glendt is still with the band.
The boys still had a problem with drummers, until Mike called and said he was itchy to beat something, so they asked him to come out and beat on their kit for a while. He said yes, came out and broke two drum heads the first night. They have not let him leave since!!!
So there is a whole new cast of charachters, and with that they needed a new name. After many cocktails and throwing around names, FETUS was born, and so goes the story..........
